Monitoring eTrust Directory

You can monitor eTrust Directory through its administration daemon, DXadmind. To connect to the daemon:

 

1. Click on the Button Bar. The Open LDAP Connection dialog appears.

2. In the Host text box, type localhost.

3. In the Port text box, type 2123.

 

4. In the Base DN text box, delete any typed text.

Tip: You can save your DXadmind connection settings. To save the settings, click Save under Use a Template.

5. Click OK to display the Welcome to eTrust Directory Monitoring page. The left pane displays a Management Information Tree (MIT) that enables you to browse through the information.

 

6. To browse the information, click the items on the MIT. To expand a branch, click its icon.
